Quick & Natural Poison Ivy Killer

We have had a Great Deal of Poison Ivy Plants this Year, even small plants popping up on the Lawn.
Poison Ivy / Vegetation Killer 1 cup salt 8 drops liquid detergent 1 gallon vinegar Combine the salt and vinegar in a pan and heat to dissolve the salt. Cool the vinegar, add the detergent, and pour some of the liquid into a large spray bottle. Spray the vegetation. (You can also just pour the mixture onto the weeds.) Refill the spray bottle as necessary. Note that this formula will kill all the vegetation, so make sure that you are only spraying the plants you want to kill. If you need to use a lot of this spray, avoid spraying it near wells, as the salt can leach into your water supply. If you have to kill Poison Ivy near Plants you want to keep just use a Plastic Tray held upright on the ground to Shield what you don't want Sprayed, a Large Plastic Jug with the top & bottom cut off, like a gallon Milk Jug is Great for this. Place it over the Small Poison Ivy Plant & it will only affect the Ivy its self.

Want Great and healthy side dish? Marinate sliced Tomatoes with balsamic vinegar for 4-6 hours. Bake at 350 for about 7 minutes or a little tender. Meanwhile, sauté spinach and garlic with a dash of salt, pepper and lemon juice. Put spinach on top of tomatoes and sprinkle with cheese of your choice (I use Mozzarella) and broil till cheese is golden! These can be easily made while Roasting a Chicken or any other Dish made in the Oven for a Simple Side Dish with Great Flavor, Enjoy!

Pancake Bacon Dippers, These are easy to make & Great for a Meal or a Quick Snack. Just put Pancake Batter in a Pan and place a Precooked Bacon Slice on Top then cover with more Batter, Cook as you would any Pancake. You can Sprinkle them with Powdered Sugar, Dip Them in Syrup or Jam. I make Extra & keep them in the Freezer for a Quick Snack. They are Great Tasting on their own even without Syrup.

Broken Egg Shells can also be used around the base of your Plants to Deter Slugs & Snails (They can't crawl on the Sharp edges of the Shell). Tomatoes Love Used Coffee Grounds & Egg Shells, just mix it into the soil before you put in your Transplants. The Egg Shell I use in the soil to add Calcium, its a Simple way to use waste items you normally throw out to improve your Soil-Quality.
The "Better Boy" Tomatoes are getting bigger, no problems at all this Year but some caterpillar on the Sunflower Plants. Some Cayenne Pepper Water took care of those pests. Hope it continues till Fall. The Cucumbers & Melons are also doing Great, even the Flowers are growing Well.

For Celery Plant - It is one of the Simplest Things to do, I used the Base of a Celery Bunch cut 2 inches from Bottom, put Tooth Picks in Sides & put into Dish with Water till the Sprouts are 3 Inches tall, I then Planted it in a Pot covering the Old Stump. In 20 Days I had an 8 Inch Tall Celery Plant from what I normally throw into the Compost Bin.

You can Easily Grow Garlic from a Clove from the bunches you purchase at the Store. If any of the Cloves Sprout or take a Clove & put that into a small dish with water, once Sprout appears put the clove into a Pot of Soil Sprout Side Up & put Under a Sunny Window.
